It is satisfactorily demonstrated:

1. Lowering prolactin tends to result in body-fat reductions -- especially abdominal fat
2. Increasing prolactin tends to result in body-fat increases
3. Orgasm increases prolactin


Conclusion:

Orgasm initiates a series of biochemical processes whereby increases in body-fat -- especially abdominal fat -- and decreases in muscle may occur. Further research is needed to establish a contributory role of orgasm in the process of lipogensis and abdominal obesity, and whether or not this process occurs in humans.

I'm saying that -- for a man -- sex almost always results in an orgasm. Moreover, abstaining from orgasm increases testosterone, with peak increase seen around day 7. These factors (PRL and TEST) both correlate well to bodyfat levels -- where increasing PRL correlates positively, and increasing TEST correlates negatively.

For men (or women) who are trying to lose weight and/or build muscle, it would seem that sexual abstinence -- or at least abstaining from orgasm -- is an important consideration.

I guess this gives a whole new meaning to the term "fat fucker".
