This is a pretty direct question and probably too much info but I've been snorting oxy for about a year now. It started with low doses and still to some people it still is low doses but I've been at up to 2-8 80's a day (1-2 at a time). I no longer get high off them but I refuse to shoot up but I am addicted to them. I've started to feel some pretty intense chest pain (lungs) that comes and goes and sometimes I feel a pretty bad pain in my left arm that feels like it's in my veins. I know I've screwed up my lungs pretty bad and it's scaring me enough to cut back considerably and I've almost quit completely and try to take them normally. I'm scared however that I've done irreversible damage to my lungs and this pain will never go away. I also smoke and have done that for about 8 years. Currently I smoke Newports and I'm wondering if possibly that could be where some of the pain is coming from. I've heard menthols "crystallize" your lungs (whatever that is) and maybe that's something to do with it. I'm trying nicotine gum to help with the smoking and it helps sometimes but I'm still struggling with that one too. Can anyone give me any thoughts on this? Anyone know anyone or has had experience with this sort of pain from this particular administration of this drug or others that caused this kind of problem? I went to the doctor and told them I was getting pretty bad chest pain, they did an EKG and took some blood but they didn't see anything "wrong". I didn't tell them about snorting the oxy though for obvious reasons but I'm beginning to think that secret might cost me my life if I can't get this to go away on my own. Thanks in advance =/

I would go back to your doctor and be totally honest with them. They can't really help you if they don't know whats going on. I've brought a friend to the hospital with a whole list of illegal drugs in his body and all the doctors did was help him. He even got discharged with no problem, so I'm thinking you'll be okay.

I don't have any personal experience with this but you would be right to try and quit smoking and stop snorting until the problem with your lungs gets figured out. Have things gotten worse or stayed the same? Keep us posted if you can.

Well, I didn't go to the doc, I just waited it out and stopped oc. I'm smoking camel lights but that doesn't seem to be where the problem came from cuz it's not hurting anymore (done with oc) however, it could of been the newports. The numbness in my limbs however is strange and I don't see how to connect that with either of the two. I can't exactly tell the doc my problem or i'll lose my script which I actually have a good reason to have. (Back fusion) I just have to quit being stupid and take them as intended. Anywho, hope this helps someone if they ever run into this problem. Peace
