How to Apply

1. The Orientation Session

In applying to become a DanceSafe chapter, your group must first go through a DanceSafe orientation and training session. When you are ready we will send a representative out to your city to conduct the orientation. The orientation lasts a full day and covers the basics of DanceSafe, harm reduction and popular education. We can answer all your questions at this time pertaining to staffing booths, testing pills, talking to police and the media, etc. We will also go over in full detail the requirements and benefits of becoming a DanceSafe chapter.

2. Submitting the Application

After you have gone through the orientation session, you may then fill out the application form (online in pdf format). You can give the completed form directly to the national office representative at the end of your orientation session, or mail it in to us at a later time.

* Note that in cases of groups which lay outside of the US, or are difficult for us to get a trainer out to, special dispension may be made in lieu of training. This is at DanceSafe's discretion.
